Vintage Original Oil Painting Pueblo Southwest Ancestral Village Myung Mario Jung Signed 27 x 31" in Frame

This vintage original oil painting features a Southwest Pueblo ancestral village against a beautiful blue sky. It is Native American inspired. The white adobe walls are textured in impasto style, with blue doors opening into a mysterious ancient world! There is great effect with light and dimension.
It measures 27" across x 31" tall in the wood frame. The frame says made in Mexico. The painting is on stretched canvas and measures 20 x 24". The distinctive artists signature is in the lower left hand corner and shown in the 6th photo.
This was signed and painted by Myung Mario Jung. He started painting in the 1980's. He suffered a catastrophic fall from a balcony which left him blind, deaf and paralyzed. Not even interested in food, Mario was giving up until he had a spiritual dream that renewed his strength and his will to live. Leaving doctors, family, and friends amazed and perplexed, Mario recovered completely and has since meticulously developed his flexible artistic style. Working in a multitude of genres, Mario’s emerging popularity is heightened by his ability to create a diverse range of work from classic and realistic stills, popular among collectors, to passionate impastos with richly textured details.
Mario has received Grand Prize honors in the category of Western Art. He was born Sept. 14, 1949 in Seoul, Korea.
Before there were Myung Mario Jung art for sale, the renowned artist was awarded Grand Prize of Western style painting in the year 1986 through an exhibition. After which, he was invited to become a member of the said association. With such promising talent, Myung Mario Jung’s artworks have been sent to art exhibitions and expos around the world.
