Frankincense Resin Incense from Ethiopia Boswellia Papyrifera, 1 ounce with 2 Charcoal Discs Ceremony Altar Smudging

This is 1 ounce of Frankincense resin, with 2 Charcoal discs for burning. This is sourced in Ethiopia, from the Boswellia Papyrifera trees. I have Swiftlite charcoal discs in my shop if needed, for burning the resin. Frankincense is used in incense and for rituals. Frankincense has an ancient history of use. The earliest recorded use of frankincense was inscribed on a tomb of a 15th century queen named Hathsepsut. The charred remains of the burnt frankincense was ground into a black powder called kohl. Kohl is the substance used in creating the distinctive black eyeliner found on the figures in Egyptian art. Today, practitioners of aromatherapy believe in its power to reduce stress. It is also used as an aid in meditation and prayer.
